As a French woman, I have always believed that style lives in the details. Not necessarily the details we notice first, but the quieter ones: the exact shade of white, the warmth of a brown, the softness of leather, or the way two colors seem to belong together without matching perfectly.
Individually, these choices may appear almost insignificant. Yet together, they can make one very simple outfit look noticeably more refined than another. They are what can make a white shirt, a pair of jeans, a jacket, and simple shoes look ordinary… or exceptionally chic.

Perhaps because of my analytical nature (and partly because of my former career as a data analyst), I have always been drawn to recurring patterns: the combinations that work and the small decisions that consistently change the way an outfit reads. As I look through runway collections and the street style photographed outside the shows, I notice these same subtle choices in many of the looks that feel the most natural, polished, and quietly distinctive.
I believe they often go unspoken because they are not really trends, nor are they always conscious rules. They are choices of taste.
